If you want a quiet forest outing without committing to a full-day hike, this is one of the best simple choices in the area.
Begin in the Bolfenk or upper-station area and follow the marked route toward Mariborska koča. From the mountain hut, Skalca Waterfall is approximately another fifteen minutes away.
The waterfall is around sixteen metres high and is especially atmospheric when water levels are higher. The route still leaves enough time for a warm meal, a slow return and a private SPA session later in the day.
